#ロリポップチェーンソーĪfter announcing pre-orders for the physical edition of The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation, developer Eastasiasoft Limited and Softstar Entertainment have finally announced a release date of August 30th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox Consoles. Lollipop Chainsaw is back by Dragami Games. Thanks to Twinfinite for the additional info. Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Lollipop Chainsaw (which just celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this week) centers on 18-year-old Juliet, whose town of San Romero has become overrun with a zombie outbreak. owning the rights to the game here in North America, but hopefully WB plays nice. No word on if Lollipop Chainsaw‘s co-director Goichi “Suda51” or James Gunn ( who referenced the game in last year’s The Suicide Squad) will be involved in the new project. Yasuda is now CEO of Dragami Games, which has taken over part of Kadokawa Games’ assets and staff. If you’re wondering how Dragami Games got involved with this, Yasuda used to be CEO of Kadokawa Games, which published Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan. While specifics weren’t revealed as to whether we’ll be getting a remaster or a sequel, Yasuda’s post yesterday (accompanied by an image of game protagonist Juliet Starling) tells fans to “look forward” to the series’ return. Per Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda’s Twitter, it would appear that the developer has plans for bringing the series back. Fans of 2012’s Lollipop Chainsaw who have been waiting for a follow-up might just have gotten their wish.
